At The Starting Line

Dream run time. Amanda and I finally get to the starting line with the Hoyts

While we did start together and we ran with the for the first mile, we were left behind as soon as Dick got warmed up. I'm honoured to be following in their foot steps.
I think Amanda was checking out Rick's wheels, either that or she was checking out the competition. We now have a new racing buggy similar to the Hoyts, only with a proper support insert. Amanda is more comfortable now on the long runs with full back support.


Hanukah Hustle 10k, Nov-20-05

"Team Rocket" in the last kilometre. Who do you think is having more fun at this point in the race? Amanda is looking as comfortable in her new Eagle Sports Chair as she is in her standard wheelchair.

2:50 Pace-Bunnies

Picking off the kilometres on Northshore Drive in Burlington around the 20k mark.  Amanda also had a hat with ears but she wouldn't wear it. She hates hats. Maybe she just has a better sense of style than I do.

with the Burlington Runners Club on Saturday mornings at 8:30 AM from the Aldershot High School pool parking lot in Burlington, Ontario
