Good Days, Bad Days

On a good day, I savour the sweet taste of victory. It satisfies like no other flavour and whets my appetite for more.

Most days, I enjoy the daily grind. It's a mellow roast that lingers on the tongue, reminding me that life usually brings more good days than bad.

However, on a bad day I get to eat crow. It's usually raw, with the feathers, beak, and claws still attached.  On those days I long for the taste of victory.
